Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, located on the ground floor at the back, were very cold and lacked central heating, although breakfast was included. The service from the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, but they provided no information about the hotel or the city. The location, with views of the castle, was the saving grace, being central and close to Windsor Castle. However, the dining experience was unsensational and not worth the extra cost. Despite its flaws, the hotel was convenient for a weekend break.
My experience at the hotel was quite disappointing. The rooms were small, located at the rear of the hotel, and not easily accessible after using the lift. Additionally, the payment didn't match the value received. Moreover, the restaurant was closed to guests due to a function, and there was a giant clump of someone else's hair in the plughole, which was not a pleasant welcome present. On the positive side, the location was convenient, and the hotel offered free breakfast due to the spa being out of action.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms, though a bit cramped and dated, were clean and had everything I needed. The service was friendly and efficient, although there was a slight odor in the bar area. The location was fantastic, right across from Windsor Castle. The dining experience was enjoyable with a decent amount of food choices.
The hotel offers a stunning view of the castle from our spacious room. The staff was helpful, although the appearance could be improved. The location is great for Windsor visits but might be overpriced. The dining experience was mixed, with some high-quality options available and others not worth the money.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were small and outdated but clean, with a unique and spacious bathroom setup. The service was friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant experience overall. The location right across from the castle was superb, though some noise disturbances were a downside. The dining options were repetitive, but the prices were reasonable. The facilities offered were satisfactory.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location was superb, right across the street from Windsor Castle, which was amazing. However, the dining options left much to be desired, especially considering the high room rate. The service was a mix of friendly and helpful staff, but with some organizational issues. Nevertheless, the facilities were decent and the room was not up to standard due to the spa being out of action and the room being unbearably hot, like a broom cupboard.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the service left much to be desired with unhelpful and impolite staff. The location, however, was fantastic for exploring Windsor's tourist area. The dining experience had its ups and downs, and the facilities were decent overall.
The hotel is in a fabulous location, just across the street from the castle, with all amenities at your doorstep. The rooms were spacious and had a wonderful view of the castle, making the stay quite enjoyable. However, some noise from the Heathrow flight path and bathroom issues affected the comfort of the stay.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room lacked a window we could open, had some mold in the bathroom, but was nicely located across the murals on the castle walls, which was a lovely sight. The service was adequate, with a room change offered, albeit a bit worn out. The location right across from Windsor Castle was excellent, but I would have preferred a more comfortable room even if it meant paying extra.
The hotel's location is fantastic, facing Windsor Castle and near the station, High Street, and various dining options. Service was friendly and especially helpful when we arrived soaked on our bikes. However, room service and laundry were not readily available. The dining experience was occasionally inconvenient with cold plates and overcooked items, though breakfast was reasonably priced. The facilities were decent overall.
My stay at the hotel was mixed. The room, although clean and modern, didn't quite live up to the deluxe expectations. However, the service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. The location, right across from Windsor Castle, was fantastic, but the dining experience left something to be desired. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel is nestled in a fantastic location close to the castle, shops, and dining options, making it very convenient for exploring Windsor. The rooms, although not matching the initial expectations, provided an excellent level of privacy as requested. Service was accommodating and managed to resolve issues effectively, though it lacked a bit of friendliness. The dining experience offered a good variety of traditional items, but service could be improved. Overall, a great location with some room for service enhancement.
I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely and spacious room with a sauna, offering a delightful view across to the castle. The service was a bit disappointing, with some communication issues and lackluster attitudes. The location, while central, seemed a bit worn down. However, the dining experience was superb, offering a divine meal in a bright setting overlooking the castle. The facilities were adequate, but there is room for improvement.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was fantastic being right in front of Windsor Castle and the town center, the room had its challenges with air conditioning issues and a separate building setup. The service had moments of friendliness but could be more attentive, especially during check-out when the reception area was flooded.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great views and some organizational issues but overall enjoyable. The amazing view of the castle from my room was fabulous, although the size was a bit compact and bijou. The location couldn't be better, right across the street from Windsor Castle, but the cleanliness needed improvement in some areas.
