Clarion Collection Harte & Garter Hotel & Spa, Windsor

My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location was superb, right across the street from Windsor Castle, which was amazing. However, the dining options left much to be desired, especially considering the high room rate. The service was a mix of friendly and helpful staff, but with some organizational issues. Nevertheless, the facilities were decent and the room was not up to standard due to the spa being out of action and the room being unbearably hot, like a broom cupboard.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the service left much to be desired with unhelpful and impolite staff. The location, however, was fantastic for exploring Windsor's tourist area. The dining experience had its ups and downs, and the facilities were decent overall.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, just across the street from the castle, with all amenities at your doorstep. The rooms were spacious and had a wonderful view of the castle, making the stay quite enjoyable. However, some noise from the Heathrow flight path and bathroom issues affected the comfort of the stay.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room lacked a window we could open, had some mold in the bathroom, but was nicely located across the murals on the castle walls, which was a lovely sight. The service was adequate, with a room change offered, albeit a bit worn out. The location right across from Windsor Castle was excellent, but I would have preferred a more comfortable room even if it meant paying extra.

The hotel's location is fantastic, facing Windsor Castle and near the station, High Street, and various dining options. Service was friendly and especially helpful when we arrived soaked on our bikes. However, room service and laundry were not readily available. The dining experience was occasionally inconvenient with cold plates and overcooked items, though breakfast was reasonably priced. The facilities were decent overall.

The rooms, although not matching the initial expectations, provided an excellent level of privacy as requested. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely and spacious room with a sauna, offering a delightful view across to the castle.
